Barcode labels need enough physical space for the code, human-readable text and your printer’s output quality.

Size before styling

Small multipurpose formats such as 30336 can suit compact identification tasks. Larger formats provide more room for text or additional fields.

Test the real workflow

Before committing to a large quantity, verify that your barcode symbology, printed size and scanner work together reliably. A label that physically fits is not automatically a good barcode layout.
