For ecommerce, label choice usually starts with parcel shipping, then expands into addresses, inventory and internal order handling.

Parcel labels

If your workflow uses full-size carrier labels, see the 4×6 guide. Smaller shipping formats may suit other mailing workflows.

Back-of-house labels

Barcode and inventory labels can support stock locations, SKUs and order organization without using a full shipping label for every internal task.

550-series compatibility: DYMO states that LabelWriter 550-series printers work with authentic DYMO LW labels and use Automatic Label Recognition. Do not assume a third-party roll made for an older LabelWriter will work in a 550, 550 Turbo or 5XL.
